Why KALM:IT exists
We started building KALM:IT in 2020 for traffic monitoring in a city district. We needed a platform that could handle real-time data from sensors, visualize it, alert on anomalies, and not cost as much as Siemens MindSphere.
That one use case grew into a full-blown IoT platform. We added:
- Air quality monitoring (PM, NOx, CO₂) for city districts
- Parking system integrations, occupancy, payments, navigation
- IoT temperature monitoring for pharmacies, ŠÚKL-compliant monitoring of cold storage and medicines
