Challenge
The opening of the flagship Super Dr.Max pharmacy in Slovakia was a major milestone for the chain. It is the largest Dr.Max branch in the country, and with that came the need for infrastructure capable of handling volume, modern technology, and ŠÚKL compliance (Slovak State Institute for Drug Control) from day one.
The client needed a single partner to deliver the entire technology portfolio in a coordinated way, instead of juggling 4–5 vendors with incompatible schedules.
Solution
Omnius delivered five integrated layers of infrastructure:
- Structured cabling, the backbone of all other systems
- Electronic price tags, a modern solution for instant price updates across the entire store
- Advertising and POS displays, information systems for current offers and campaigns
- Camera system, advanced security and space monitoring
- Maintenance-free temperature measurement, the automated KALM:IT system for product quality in refrigerators and storage
Everything was delivered in close cooperation with the Dr.Max team within a single coordinated schedule, with no clashes between subcontractors.
Result
Super Dr.Max opened with all systems in full operation. Temperature monitoring runs on the KALM:IT platform, generates ŠÚKL-compliant audit reports, and eliminates manual temperature logging, which would have been unmanageable at this scale of operations.
The project confirmed that a multi-layer retail deployment from a single partner can be both faster and cheaper than combining independent vendors.
